Dennis is an industry category creator, product leader, and entrepreneur with over 20 years experience bringing technology and lifestyle products to market for some of the most renowned brands in the world. 

As an industry thought leader and listed in Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business - his work and perspectives have been published in Time, The New York Times, Forbes, Fast Company, VentureBeat, CNET, Businessweek, and the Wall Street Journal among others. As an industry speaker, he has given keynote addresses at venues such as CES, GigaOM Mobilize, Engadget Expand, IPTV World, and Fast.Co Innovation.

As Co-founder and Executive Board Member at Palm, Dennis partnered with co-founder Howard Nuk to re-invent the beloved Palm brand in 2016. The San Francisco-based startup Palm Ventures Group secured global exclusive rights to the Palm brand to usher in a new smartphone category around ultra mobility and a voice-first future. Miloseski and Nuk also brought on 3-time NBA champ and MVP basketball star Stephen Curry as a strategic investor and advisor at Palm. The new Palm phone launched in 2018 with exclusive partnerships in the U.S. at Verizon and Best Buy. Palm expanded to international markets in 2019 through partnerships in Germany, UK, Spain, Japan, Hong Kong, among others.

 

Prior to Palm, Dennis served as Global Vice President, Head of Studio at Samsung Design America and Head of Samsung Mobile User Experience Lab (UXCA), Dennis was a global product leader at Samsung with a focus on new category creation in consumer lifestyle products. Dennis drove the launch of over 15 new category products across mobile, wearables, smartwatches, fitness, and audio categories. He was responsible for shipping new category creating products globally, bringing hardware, software and services together in new ways to revolutionize the way we interact with technology and the world around us. Notable products at Samsung include the Samsung Gear Fit 1 & 2, Gear S & S2, Gear IconX, Galaxy Buds, Gear Circle, Samsung Galaxy View, and the Samsung Level Headphone Line-up. As one of the new faces of Samsung in Silicon Valley, his efforts were to help Samsung establish itself as a lifestyle brand and act as a first-mover when it comes to new products, creating industry disruption for the company.

Prior to Samsung, Dennis was part of the design leadership team at Google. Dennis managed teams responsible for launching end-to-end experiences for products such as Gmail and Google Apps. During his later tenure at Google, he was Head of Design for Special Projects across Google’s hardware at YouTube, TV, and Chromecast projects.

I had a strong focus on special projects at Google and served as the Head of Design for confidential platform efforts. During this time at Google I was a user experience leader across various Google, YouTube, Video, TV, and Chromecast projects. I was awarded the OC Award by top executives and the exclusive Founder's Award by Larry and Sergey for my outstanding contributions to innovation at Google. As an early UX thought leader at the company, I joined Google in 2007 and directed the design teams responsible for launching the end-to-end experiences for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader, and Google Apps - bringing delightful experiences to hundreds of millions of users.

Directed and lead design strategy for brand identity, interactive design, and user experience for DivX, Inc. and it's fortune 100 partner initiatives. As one of the early start-up members, I helped establish the global design strategy for the company – helping to lead DivX to its IPO in 2006.

Jan 2001 - Mar 2003

I served as design leader at GE Healthcare Solutions where I was the design and user experience principal for the business. During my tenure at GE, I planned, directed, and established all user interface, user experience, and usability initiatives for GE Medical Systems. During the 'Imagination at Work' re-brand, my contributions were instrumental in establishing the new brand identity in print, web, and interactive media for the medical systems division.

Design Consultancy

In consultancy, I've worked in many environments. My extensive book of work includes designs for Sony Electronics, America Online, Netscape, and a number of technology start-ups. I led many design efforts in web, software, and advertising and was responsible for managing the design and user experience on each project.
